.Environmental workshops.
These workshops are about responses to space wherever it happens to be i.e. in a school or outside, urban or rural. By using a combination of games, drawing, photography, mapping and temporary sculpture students get to know a particular location using different senses.  

 
     

  The core activities lead to different conclusions in different locations. Most of these pictures are from Exmoor National Park where treasure hunts set by young people for each other developed into a CD-Rom and interactive web treasure hunt using images and clues made by participants. This was distributed to secondary schools across Somerset.  

     
 

  I facilitated three residential workshops with young people in Exmoor with artist-in-residence Anne-Marie Culhane.

I have also used these methods in an indoor school situation which resulted in students placing temporary 'interventions' into a public place.
